Associate editor from Nature Chemistry, Dr. Stephen Davey, visited our group!

The associate editor for organic chemistry from Nature Chemistry, Dr. Stephen Davey, visited our campus on Sept. 6th, 2013 (Friday). He delivered a lecture named “Communicating Chemistry” to all the teachers and students. He set forth the importance of effective communication of science. Traditionally, science is first presented in peer-reviewed journals. He told us how the process worked and what editorial staff did. In addition, he let us know how researchers should choose where to publish and how journals compare to one another. All the students agreed that they had benefited a great deal from Dr. Stephen Davey‘s lecture.
