Prof. Yingchun Chen gave us an invited talk.

Today, Prof. Ying-Chun Chen from Sichuan University gave us a report named " Organocatalytic Asymmetric cycloaddition Reactions via HOMO-Activation".

Prof. Chen recieved his Bachelor's degree from Nankai University and then moved to West China University of Medical Sciences. In 2001, he recived his PhD degree from Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS. In 2002, he moved to The University of Hong Kong to do postdoctoral research under the guidence of Prof. Dan Yang. In 2003, he joined Sichuan University as a frofessor.

His research interests focused on asymmetric organocatalysis and synthesis of biologically important compounds.

Today, Prof. Chen showed us his execellent work on D-A reaction and gave us some enlightenment.
