Gao Yubo is a 2016 master’s degree student who was admitted to the SECE of Peking University from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His master’s major is microelectronics and solid-state electronics. During the first year as a graduate student, his research interests mainly focused on using carbon nanotube array to improve the performance of traditional network transistors. Through innovative use of multiple compression and expansion LB film method, he realized high-density arrayed carbon nanotubes. Compared with random network transistors, LB film transistors can increase the network mobility from 2.044 cm2/(Vs) to 30.81 cm2/(Vs), and also exhibit a larger on-state current. Such carbon nanotube array transistors have the  better performance than traditional network transistors and provide an important support for the future development of carbon nanotube devices. The research results were published in IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology.
